The proceeds of this benefit event will go to the Willem Alexander Children’s Hospital (part of the LUMC).
What are we running for during the TK Challenge Bio Science Parkrun on 29 May 2022?
On Sunday 29 May, we will be supporting the children of the Willem-Alexander Children’s Hospital (WAKZ).
In order to let a child be a child as much as possible in the hospital, we are doing our best to raise as much money as possible. The contributions of this run will benefit an aquarium in the emergency room.

The Bio Science Parkrun will start at TK and finish at Hilton Garden Inn. The route will be spread over the Leiden Bio Science Park. As you can see we do not end at the start location. We have therefore found Stadsparkeerplan willing to take our participants from Hilton Garden Inn to TK. Naturally, we have also taken into account the belongings of the participants. We will transport all their belongings to Hilton Garden Inn, where we have arranged a room where participants can pick up their belongings.
We charge € 20,= for participation. This contribution will entirely go to the Willem-Alexander Children’s Hospital. With this contribution, they can realise the renovation and furnishing of a child-friendly hospital.
