CALL FOR PARTICIPATION: SINO-DUTCH WORKSHOP ON MEDICAL DEVICE REGULATION AND INVESTMENT

The size of the medical devices market in China was 800 billion RMB (103 billion EUR) in 2019. The compound annual growth rate of the market was 13.6% through the year of 2016 to 2020, according to the Planning of Chinese Medical Equipment Industry (2021-2025) . The Chinese medical care market and industry will continue to open up for international cooperation, according to the newly released China National 14th Five Year Plan (2021-2025). In order to better support the Dutch LSH business community, especially medical technology/device companies in this case, the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Beijing, the Consulate General in Shanghai, together with the Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency (NFIA), are organizing an online + offline workshop on Medical Device Regulation and Investment at the China International Medical Equipment Fair (CMEF), which will be held 13th -16th May in Shanghai. The target audience is mainly Dutch life science and health companies (especially medical technology/device companies), who have a business interest in/with China.

Key Chinese industry players will share their insights, in terms of regulatory framework in China, as well as their business interest when working with foreign SMEs. During the workshop, you will have the opportunity to raise not only your interests, but also your concerns and questions, and discuss them with key industry players and Chinese investors.
