Completion of work on Einsteinweg

Einstein Road is open to traffic again. Buses are running there again and motorists and cyclists can already take the road. Yet it is clear that some things still need to be finalised.

Bicycle path Einsteinweg-Ehrenfestweg

From 7am on 19 August, the cycle path at the Einsteinweg-Ehrenfestweg junction will be tackled. The old cycle path will be moved and resurfaced.

The cycle path will be closed during the works. Cyclists can cross and pass the works via the opposite side of the road. The work is expected to last until the end of August.

Robert Boyleweg – Niels Bohrweg

From 19 August 07:00 until the end of August, a new discharge pipe will be installed from Robert Boyleweg towards Niels Bohrweg. From Robert Boyleweg, half of the carriageway will be closed.

It is not allowed to park along Robert Boyleweg or Niels Bohrweg during the works.

Traffic controllers

Car, truck and bicycle traffic can pass the works in both directions under the supervision of a traffic controller. Pedestrians can continue to use the footpath along the road. The work then moves towards Niels Bohrweg. At this location too, the carriageway will be half closed during the works and traffic will be able to pass under the supervision of traffic controllers.
