Entrepreneurs’ Desk offers assistance to entrepreneurs

As of Tuesday, March 30, the Entrepreneurs’ Desk offers help to entrepreneurs who cannot manage to get their businesses through the corona crisis in a healthy way. The Entrepreneurs’ Desk was established, with our help and the other members of the Crisis Team Economy, by the municipalities of Leiden, Leiderdorp and Oegstgeest.

The Entrepreneurs’ Desk will actively approach entrepreneurs and discuss with them what support is needed to get out of the crisis in the best possible way. The call team consists of freelancers from the region who have also been affected by the coronas measures. Together with entrepreneurs they see what help is needed and, if necessary, they refer entrepreneurs to the organization that can help them further on their way. Entrepreneurs can also contact the Enterprise Desk themselves. The help is intended for entrepreneurs from Leiden, Leiderdorp and Oegstgeest. All support is offered free of charge, which includes:

  • Entrepreneurship assistance, such as support in developing a new business model;
  • Support with finances;
  • Support with psychosocial issues;
  • Quitting business and guidance to salaried employment.

More information is at www.leiden.nl/ondernemersdesk. Should business owners need assistance with the reorientation, they can send a callback request to ondernemersdesk@leiden.nl. Please include the company name, first and last name, address and phone number. An employee of the Entrepreneurs’ Desk will then contact you within two working days. Entrepreneurs can also contact the Entrepreneurs’ Desk directly by calling 071 516 7006.
