The practorate contributes to the innovation and flexibility of the education offered by the educational institutions involved, thus further strengthening human capital. Lessons learned’ are widely shared to enable upscaling. In this way, the practorate functions as a hinge between innovation of the professional practice and innovation of education. Where possible, links are sought with practorates and lectorates.
One of the important pillars in the CIV Bio Sciences is practice-based research relating to the development and exploration of innovation in Bio Sciences and its implementation in professional education. To this end, we are looking for a practor (approx. 0.4 FTE), who will set up the Bio Sciences Practorate as part of mboRijnland, under the umbrella of the CIV Bio Sciences.
The core of the practorate Bio Sciences focuses on researching Bio Sciences innovations and labour market developments and needs and appropriate MBO education, creating (qualitative) added value for the professional field (professional practice), current and future students (professional competence and future professional perspective) and teachers (professionalisation).
