Subsidy scheme for zero-emission company cars

As of March 15, companies and non-profit institutions can apply for a subsidy for the purchase of one or more new zero-emission company cars. The purpose of this new scheme is to reduce CO2 emissions. The scheme stems from the Climate Agreement, which aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 49% by 2030 compared to 1990.

Fully emission-free company cars

The scheme applies to company cars that are completely zero-emission, powered exclusively by an electric motor, and fall under vehicle classifications N1 or N2 up to a maximum weight of 4250 kg. The subsidy amounts to a maximum of € 5000 per company car.

Sharing can be lucrative

In The Hague, entrepreneurs who do not need their company car on a daily basis share a zero-emission company car. At https://www.weimarstraat.nl/ondernemers-weimarstraat-delen-elektrische-bestelbus/ you can read more about this potentially lucrative initiative.
