ZES Festival 1 November 2021 on the Beestenmarkt

Stocking without emissions: 3 years from now!

From 2025 onwards, the inner city of Leiden can only be supplied with emission-free goods by road, bicycle path and water.

What will this look like in practice? What solutions are there already? How can entrepreneurs prepare themselves and what do they need to do to meet the requirements?

Festival

On 1 November, the ZES Festival (Zero Emission City Distribution) will take place at the Beestenmarkt in Leiden. For and by entrepreneurs. Between 16.00 and 19.00 hours you can get information and inspiration about what the introduction of the zero emission zone in 2025 means for your company.

Market with leaders

The ZES Festival takes place from 16.00 to 19.00 on the Beestenmarkt. The festival consists of a market and a speakers’ corner where entrepreneurs from Leiden and the region show how they have incorporated emission-free transport into their business operations, such as LessGo, Logiconnekt, City Hub and CityBarge.

Programme

  • 16.00 – Councillor Ashley North (Sustainability, Mobility and Public Space Management) opens the festival
  • 16.15 – 16.45 – Speakers corner
  • 17.00 – 18.00 – Alderman Yvonne van Delft (Work, Income, Economy and Culture) present to discuss with entrepreneurs
  • 18.15 – 18.45 – Speakerscorner
  • 19.00 – End
